SIXTREND is a growing Canadian custom furniture company, and we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Delivery Installer to join our team in a part-time or occasional on-call role.

What you'll do

• Assist the delivery lead to safely load, transport, and deliver our custom furniture to customers
• Professionally install and assemble furniture on-site
• Handle furniture with care to ensure it arrives in perfect condition
• Provide friendly and helpful service when interacting with customers

What we're looking for

• Physically fit and able to lift, carry, and maneuver large furniture pieces
• Handy with tools and comfortable with basic assembly/installation
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team

Bonus points

• Experience working in the moving/delivery/logistics industry is an asset
• Valid Ontario G Class Driver's License (minimum) with a clean driving record
• Experience driving medium-sized cargo vans and/or box trucks
• Experience driving commercial vehicles in southern Ontario / Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area

SIXTREND is a growing custom furniture company, and we're looking for a skilled Sewist to join our extended team. This is a work-from-home position designed to support our workshop during busy periods and production surges.

What you'll do

• Assist with cutting and sewing fabrics for custom furniture pieces, accents, and upholstery samples
• Follow patterns and instructions accurately to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Communicate with our production team regarding timelines and project updates

What we're looking for

Access to your own sewing equipment and a suitable workspace at home (materials and consumable/replacement parts will be provided as needed). Your machine must have the ability to handle thick upholstery-grade fabric, leather, and vinyl.

• Proven experience with sewing, pattern handling, and fabric cutting
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality craftsmanship

What you'll do

• Upholster custom furniture pieces including sofas, chairs, headboards, ottomans, and more
• Measure, cut, and apply fabric, leather, foam, and padding with precision
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and production specifications
• Repair, reupholster, and modify existing furniture as needed
• Ensure high-quality finishing, attention to detail, and structural integrity
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace
• Collaborate with production, design, and warehouse teams to meet deadlines and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an upholsterer (residential or commercial furniture)
• Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, tools, and machinery
• Ability to measure accurately and work with a variety of fabrics and materials
• High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment

Bonus points

• Experience working with custom furniture or made-to-order pieces
• Experience with pattern matching and complex fabric applications
• Knowledge of furniture frame construction
