Who we are

SIXTREND is a Canadian furniture maker with a showroom and workshop at 3908 Chesswood Drive, Toronto, ON M3J 2W6. This policy covers sixtrend.ca, our online shop, our customer portals (order tracking, billing, delivery booking) and the information you give us by phone, email, chat or in person.

What we collect

Order and contact details: your name, email, phone number, delivery and billing address, and what you ordered.
Payment information: card payments and financing are handled by our payment and financing providers, who process your card or credit details for us.
Requests and messages: what you send us through custom-design and trade forms, appointment bookings, fabric sample requests, support tickets, email and live chat.
Delivery information: access notes, photos and signatures collected when we deliver.
How you use the site: pages viewed, the device and browser type, the approximate area (city or province, from your IP address) and how you arrived (for example from an ad). See Cookies.

How we use it

To make, deliver, service and support your furniture order.
To answer your questions, quotes and appointment requests.
To take payment, prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
To keep records the law requires (for example tax records).
With your permission where required, to understand how the site is used and to measure and improve our advertising.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to do its job for us:

Payment processors and financing providers (such as Affirm), to take payment.
Delivery partners, to bring your order to you.
Hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare (site delivery and spam protection) and our web host.
Mapbox, which suggests addresses as you type at checkout.
Email and our own live chat, to talk with you.
Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only as described under Cookies.

Some of these providers store information outside Quebec and outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under local law. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. sixtrend.ca uses three kinds:

Strictly necessary (always on)

These make the site work: your cart (sxt_cart_token), saved items, shop filters, checkout progress and discount codes, sign-in, and spam protection. They are not used for advertising.

Analytics

Advertising

Your choice

In Quebec: analytics and advertising are off until you choose to turn them on in the cookie banner.
Elsewhere: they are on by default, and you can turn either one off at any time.

Use the button below, or "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Your choice is saved in your browser for 12 months. If you turn something off, we stop loading it right away and remove its cookies from sixtrend.ca.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of personalised ads at Google Ad Settings and in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

Your rights

Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
Ask us to correct it, or to delete what we no longer need.
Withdraw your consent, for example to marketing emails or cookies.

Email info@sixtrend.ca and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (Quebec residents) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

How long we keep it, and how we protect it

We keep order and warranty records for as long as your warranty applies and as long as tax law requires, then delete or anonymise them. Messages and requests that do not lead to an order are deleted when no longer needed. Access to customer information is limited to the staff who need it, and the site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
